Celebrations are underway at Eden Boys’ Leadership Academy, Manchester after pupils received their GCSE and BTec results.

Teachers and parents have been celebrating with pupils at the school as they progress onto the next stage of their education or training. The school’s star performers include Haroon Saifudin, Hussein Al-Baidhani and Abdullah Amjad who all achieved the grades they needed to pursue their chosen next steps.

Abdullah Amjad, has rightfully celebrated his outstanding achievements, having defied all odds while battling a serious health issue since childhood. Abdullah, who aspires to be a zoologist or marine biologist, achieved grade 8s in in Citizenship, History, Maths, Physics and RE, and grade 7s in Biology, Chemistry, English Language and  English Literature. As he sets his sights on his dream career, Abdullah aspires to pursue A levels in Biology, Chemistry and History at Loreto College. He said:

“The support I have had since I have started at Eden Boys’ has helped me build my confidence and resilience.  All my teachers pushed me to do my best and were always there when I needed a helping hand.  Thank you Eden Boys’ Leadership Academy, Manchester.”

Hussein Al-Baidhani was another of the school’s high achievers. He successfully secured seven grade 9s and four grade 8s. With a future career in medicine in his sights, Hussein will go onto study A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. He said:

“I am so pleased with my results – I’ve worked really hard throughout school and am very glad to have achieved these grades. I’ve had a great time at Eden Boys’ Manchester and the teachers have always gone out of their way to support me and ensure I had every opportunity to succeed.  Eden Boys’ will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Haroon Saifudin completed all of his GCSEs at grade 7 or above, including the top grade 9 in Maths. He plans to continue in his father’s footsteps by setting his sights on a career in the medical field. The talented pupil will now study A levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology. Haroon said

“My experience at Eden Boys’ Manchester has been amazing. I have been provided with so many opportunities to develop both in my school learning and to develop my social skills and character. I truly believe that the school has played a big part in building my confidence and making me the person I am today. I will always be grateful to all the staff at Eden Boys’ Manchester for their help, support and encouragement.”
